Who is Shoo Fly?
Shoo Fly believes 'that children learn through experience. Where life does not give us that experience we need to learn it from elsewhere. One of the most important roles of teachers is to offer children experiences through which they can learn. Children need to see themselves as unique individual who all have something to contribute to the world we share. In expressing themselves individually through the spoken and written word and the more abstract forms of performance, music and visual art children will learn that there is more than one answer to a problem and more than one path to personal fulfilment'.
Shoo Fly is committed to supporting schools in Scotland using their products and have recently produced materials to show how their Connected Learning Resources support Curriculum for Excellence.
