Software News

Storm Educational Software is developing a presentation tool which allows children to create maps of local interest and to allow them to add photographs, videos or podcasts about the places on the map. Children can then present their 'maps' to the rest of class on the Interactive Whiteboard. Ideal for cross curricular use and delivering Curriculum for Excellence. 4Mation, the educational software company responsible for some of the classic software titles including Granny's Garden, is developing phonics software. They are delighted to announce that they will be working with a Scottish school during the development stage to try and address some of the needs of Scottish schools.
