News
- Microsoft Captions Language Interface Pack (CLIP)Scottish Gaelic for Microsoft Office is now available and is available for download here. CLIP is a simple language translation solution that uses tooltip captions to display results
- Free Online Gaelic lessons for Scottish secondary schools from Languagenut -Languagenut have announced that in addition to primary schools, Scottish secondary schools can all access their FREE Gaelic resources online. To sign up click here
- Imovesdance, Scottish education professionals and Youth Scotland are working together to bring their resources in line with Curriculum of Excellence for Expressive arts, PE and Health & wellbeing and should be completed and ready for early 2012.
- SMART Technologies had just announced the launch of the new SMART Board 400 series interactive display overlay. The overlay can be added to virtually any LCD or plasma flat-panel display to enable touch and ink interactivity. The new overlay includes SMART Notebook™collaborative learning software for education customers, allowing for more effective collaboration in both meeting spaces and classrooms. - Kudlian are looking for schools who have produced work using I Can Animate or I Can Present with others to upload their film to YouTube and email the link to showcase@kudlian.net. Each upload has a chance of winning in their monthly prize draw - the more you upload the more chances of winning. Please note that by uploading your film you are giving Kudlian permission to showcase your work on their website, presentations etc. Children who upload must get written permission from parent/carer.
- MySmartSpaces is an education community hub with new a wealth of real-time resources and debate from across the web. It is a new way for UK teachers to connect with this global community: share ideas, swap resources and get the most of your SMART Board.
