Competitions
Kudlian Software, the creators of the award winning I Can Animate is launching a competition that challenges children aged five to fourteen to make a short animation, around thirty seconds long, to introduce their characters. Animations should be accompanied by a piece of theme music that represents the character. Entrants should consider pitch, dynamics, tempo and timbre and choose a musical instrument or piece of music that sounds like their character. Any type of animation to can be used to bring the characters to life and theme music must be composed by the animators or be free from copyright. Dates for your Diary
SMART will be holding a two day Content Creation Seminar for all interested FE lecturers on 20th & 21st April. This is a two-day residential course to look at ways of creating stimulating and interactive lessons for the FE sector. SMART will be funding the course, including residential costs (venue to be announced, but will be the central belt). For further details contact anne.forrest@steljes.co.uk
